Gemma Purcell BDes MBA – Enterprise Development Manager
Gemma Purcell is responsible for the promotion, management and growth of the Institute’s Enterprise & Research Incubation Centre and its allied range of support services and training programmes to new and existing enterprises including the New Frontiers programme. Gemma has a proven track record in business development, enterprise support and multi-project management. She holds a BDES honours degree in Industrial Design from NCAD and an MBA from the Institute of Technology Carlow.
Mary Beck IATI BBUS MA – New Frontiers Co-ordinator
As Co-Ordinator and Administrator of the Institute’s Enterprise & Research Incubation Centre, Mary provides a range of supports to tenant companies. She is also Programme Co-Ordinator for the New Frontiers Programme, being responsible for the promotion and activities of the Programme and working closely with participants, consultants and external organisations over the course of the programme. Mary has extensive experience in managing projects and collaboration, having worked in Industry for over 15 years, and in numerous positions within IT Carlow. She holds a BBus Honours Degree and Masters in Business.

Brian Ogilvie BSc MSc MBA MRSC – Head of Research and Commercialisation Support
Brian has 25 years management experience in product development & commercialisation, innovation, technical and business development. Key interests include implementing supports for regional and national SMEs and entrepreneurs through developing key mechanisms, specialised and tailored programmes, infrastructure and targeted access pathways through which businesses have greater engagement with HEI facilities, researchers, and networks.

Incubation Space
Housing nine self-contained offices that vary in size from individual to open plan shared office space. We have the capacity to provide lab space/manufacturing operations or other requirements you may have.
